I tried 2 scenarios.
I am running on ubuntu 8.04 in vmware.

1. I followed the quick start guide http://developer.yahoo.com/connectedtv/quickstart/ and couldn't find the MediaPlayerSample widget in the $HOME/TVWidgets/Konfabulator-Latest-540/TV/Widgets folder. And I couldn't locate the /devwidgets folder. So I sought out to seek more tutorials.

2. I found this web site http://www.yctvblog.com/blog/2010/05/13/ge...cted-tv-widgets, installed virtualbox and vagrant. I was able to download the wget http://h.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/lib/ctv/wdk/wdk.box.zip and successfully create the box. Where I got lost is everything after that. The blog says to extract all the files in the sample folder to a wdk folder. So I created a wdk folder in my home directory and extracted all the correct files in the folder and ran the vagrant up command.

My question is:
Where is this /devwidgets folder supposed to be located. In the $HOME/TVWidgets folder or somewhere in another directory. Im lost as to where I need to put the files so that they will load in the simulator.
