I have several computers running various versions of Ubuntu from 10.04 to 11.10. Can I just install the WDK directly in Ubuntu without adding the complexity of Virtual Box? Why run a VM when I can just run Ubuntu directly?
Thanks for your help.
Allen
Yes, you may install the WDK directly on Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10. However its not tested for Ubuntu 11.10, so not sure if there may be some issues.

Thanks,
Vivek

QUOTE(Allen @ 17 Nov 2011 8:36 PM)

I have several computers running various versions of Ubuntu from 10.04 to 11.10. I have Ubuntu 11.10 (just upgraded from 10.04 before trying WDK). The WDK installation could not be completed.

QUOTE(Vivek Jani @ 18 Nov 2011 3:53 AM)

Yes, you may install the WDK directly on Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10.
