WDK Development on Windows Platform?

I sincerely hope (and request) WDK be enabled to function for coding and testing on a Windows platform.

    Been there. Done that. Virtual O is not an effective way to develop software.

    Yea, I agree. I was just joking. I eventually installed Ubuntu instead of working though a VM after many issues.

  • Try VirtualBox. We have had much success with VirtualBox. We have a tutorial for a ConnectedTV install at the link below.

    yup, I'd definitely second that. Granted I've only been using it a few days but so far so good, no noticeable performance issues (it's actually faster than my real TV which given the resources available on my machine versus the TV shouldn't be surprising) and video playback seems to be working just fine.

    I can vouch for Eclipse running on Debian inside a VirtualBox VM, works like a charm :)
