Simulator won't start after awhile

Hi,
I have a problem with the simulator (540 latest p. s.): sometimes, after a few starts and stops, it does not start anymore: the terminal window cursor blinks endesly on the first line, nothing written on the terminal.

I noticed that only if I restart Ubuntu (8.04) then it works again.

Is there a solution for this problem. Is a little annoying to have to restart Ubuntu...

I can give further details if needed.
(ywe-wdk-1.0.0.0.0-i386)

    Is it happening in every simulator? Try reinstalling the WDK if you haven't already. I have not experienced this problem.

  • found the cause:

    Ubuntu network / DHCP does not work sometimes after restoring VMWare session -> The Simulator won't start (but no message is shown in terminal as it would happen normally).

    maybe it helps somebody else.

  • Are you using VitualBox 3.1.4? We ran into problems and had to downgrade back to 3.1.0.
