Is there any API for switching on 3D mode on the TV?

I'm working on a widget for Yahoo! based Vizio TVs which would deliver 3D video content. As far as I am concerned, the user could switch the TV to 3D mode (side-by-side or top-down mode) by the remote control. But I'm wondering is there a way to turn on 3D mode automatically by some API call? Does Yahoo! framework support that?
