I have two grids in a fullscreen view. One contains categories, the second, data based on the currently selected category. As I see it, only one element can have focus at a given time. Still, I want to always highlight the currently selected category, so the user knows what he selected. How can I go about doing this?
Can I dump the onBlur event from inside the onNavigate if a certain key is pressed? (up/down in my case) My onNavigate event is in the Grid definition, the onSelect/onBlur are in the GridCell element which is in the cellCreator function.
Poke around the element.Grid which is extended by the control.Grid object. There are some some controls to figure out how to get the Cell information.
I really don't have any sample code for this, but it should be very possible. You could also change your top grid to a set of Containers and manage list manually. The Grid object is not a clean to work with when you want to directly reference the Containers inside the Grid Container.
