Field types and length

Is there any documentation of field types and lengths that we could use when creating MySQL tables to hold GeoPlanet data?

For example, is WOEID an INT, DOUBLE or VARCHAR? Is there a maximum length to place names, or should it be TEXT? Are ISO codes always 3 characters or can they be longer?
