We are currently experiencing an outage of the Yahoo! Connected TV Store (Widget Gallery on older TVs). We are ware of this issue and working on fixing all TVs as fast as we possible can. This issue will affect all Yahoo! Connected TVs.
Connected TV Users:
Good news! Service to your TV has been restored! We apologize for any inconvenience with this outage. We have found and resolved the issue.
We are in the process of checking all other services including the TV App Upload Tool. While we check this tool we ask that you refrain from uploading any new apps or update existing apps. We should have this check complete in 24 hours from now (~2:30pm PST 5/3/13).
I cannot log in to Yahoo on my VIZIO SV422XVT 42-Inch Class XVT Series 240Hz sps LCD VIZIO Internet Apps HDTV. As well I cannot open Tunein Radio, Pandora, Accuweather, etc. However, I can open Netflix and Hulu Plus-- both which I added much later than the other apps. I thought the problem might be that I just moved from DC to Palm Springs, CA, area. But when I called Vizio they alerted me to the problem with Yahoo. Are there fixes I can do to get back app usage?
@Joseph - This issue should be resolved. If you are still seeing problems please perform a factory reset and all should be back to normal. Refer to your TV’s manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset. You may need to reinstall some apps after the factory reset. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
@Alan, This sounds like an unrelated issue to the original thread.
If you are having issues with the apps on your TV you may check the following:
1. Make sure you are connected to the internet - Check your TV manual for details on how to check your connection.
2. Try a few apps to make sure it is not an isolated issue with one app.
3. If you have confirmed a connection and still having issues, try unplugging your TV from the power for a few minutes.
