I have a question if this is possible, and if and one can show me who has done this

1) Viewer is watching programme using Videoplayer
2) Mid-way, the programme offers additional content.
3) The choices appear on-screen.
4) The viewer selects a choice and the content is shown.
5) At any time, the viewer can exit the additional content to go back to the programme using Videoplayer
6) He can choose to rewind back to the point he left off to catch up on the programme. He can then fast-forward to the current linear broadcast if he wants to.

and can this content (4) allow the user to vote or send a message too
