Widget not showed in new Led Samsung TV

Hi

I published my widget MapsTv some months ago into the widget Gallery. I enjoy it on my 'old' Samsung LCD B651.

This weekend i was trying a 'New' Samsung Led TV UE32 C6530. This brand has both the Samsung apps and the Yahoo Widgets. But my widget MapsTV is not in its Widget Gallery. Other widgets (Yahoo News, weather, ...) are showed with no problems.

Old and new TVs has identical brand (samsung), languaje and country configurations. What happens ?

Hi Raul,

Samsung currently approves each app for a specific model year. MapsTV was previously approved for 2009 but not yet for 2010 Samsung models which I believe is what you are now looking at. Yahoo! TV Widgets was enabled through a firmware update to 2010 Samsung TVs in November 2010 and widget approvals are still ongoing. We should have your widget approved for 2010 models very soon.

Note this same process will be followed for the Samsung 2011 models due to arrive in stores in March. We're working towards a more streamlined process with a target for 2012 model year TVs.

Regards,
Ian.

Which particular widget are you asking about? The widgets get updated as they are approved by Samsung after QA has tested them and you should get the updates in that case automatically.

Thanks,
Vivek

QUOTE (Shrikant @ 7 Jan 2012 8:07 AM)

QUOTE (Ian Parrott @ 22 Feb 2011 1:31 PM) Hi Raul,

Samsung currently approves each app for a specific model year.
