Trying to play songs on my Vizio TV. It is connected to the internet, plays YouTube and NetFlix fine - opens Rhapsody app fine, lets me log in - but when I try to play the song it doesn't actually play. Puts the album cover on the screen and shows the time of the song, but will not play. Why???

Have uninstalled and re-installed app, logged in with two different accounts, no changes in behavior.
Store says Rhapsody 1.9.76 - but cannot get Rhapsody app to say that, only 1.9.75w
Got this from Rhapsody support a few hours after contacting them. I ended up canceling my service and am now using other services that actually work and support their player clients. At least they acknowledge the problem.

I have the same problem. Been back and forth with Vizio and Rhapsody a dozen times. Vizio will tell you it's Rhapsody's problem and Rhapsody that it's a firmware (Vizio) problem. I'm going to hang in there awhile longer before dumping Rhapsody, because I believe it's the only streaming service whose app is available on Vizio.
Same thing here Jesse and Jeremy5 I've been on the phone and chat to both and they just keep pointing at the other one. Vizio just told me today:
I apologize, but Rhapsody updated their application but did not send the update to the VIZIO TV, so I apologize, but until they update the app, it will not work.
Rhapsody said my account is fine and I needed to have Vizio Technicians update my TV to the latest Firmware (already at the latest of course). When I told them that, they just said that my TV was not supported then. What? It was 60 days ago!! I told him that really what he was saying is that: They (Rhapsody) updated there services and the updated application was, for whatever reason, not released for my particular model. He said "yes basically".
I'll be replacing my 3 yr old Vizio LCD soon because the picture is already having issues anyway.... I won't be looking at a Vizio replacement since they seem to stop Firmware support for products older than a couple years.
I cannot use any other app from the task bar other than Netflix and YouTube, when trying to open Facebook or Twitter it show a message "Connection Disconnected" I go back to check my wireless connection and is just fine, it's connected. can anybody help to get the rest of the apps work. Thanks
ame problem for several months after two months trouble-free with new Vizio. I have tv connected to soundbar which has Bluetooth capability. Play Rhapsody on my iPhone and Bluetooth that to tv soundbar. Even though I feel like I'm not getting what I've contracted for, I am able to listen until (if) they ever resolve the compatibility issue. Cheers.
