None of my apps are working except from Netflix and YouTube. I have a Vizio Smart TV
I cannot use any other app from the task bar other than Netflix and YouTube, when trying to open Facebook or Twitter it show a message "Connection Disconnected" I go back to check my wireless connection and is just fine, it's connected. can anybody help to get the rest of the apps work. Thanks
Please provide the model number of your TV. If you not have done so already, Can you please try to perform a factory reset on you TV? Refer to your TV’s manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I am having the same issue. I can load netflix. It is connected, but the widget bar doesn't load any of the apps, just shows a spinning icon. Unplugged it for a day. Still doing it. It worked great until recently. my tv model is e422vle
I'm having the very same issue with a Vizio E550i-B2. I have already performed a factory reset. I have the same issue regardless of a wired connection via ethernet or wireless via wifi. Always, the test connection page will show a successful connection and test results. The YouTube app always works. I don't have a Netflix account to test that app with.
I would like to get more info to try to narrow down the issue.
For users that have model e442vle, could you go to the Yahoo! Connected TV Store, press the green colored button and it will take you to settings. Scroll down to TV App Software and provide the following software versions:
Yahoo Application Framework
Connected TV Store
and for users that have model E550i-B2, press via button once to get a dock to display and then press via button again to get the fullscreen app store. Then scroll over to the tab that has the gear logo and click on it. Scroll to TV App Software and provide the software versions above.
I have the same issue on the Visio E550i-B2 I just bought today. The wireless connection tests fine but whenever I use the V button and then select an application, it tells me to "connect your Visio Inc TV to the internet." It gives me a "how to connect" button which just takes me back to the network settings which shows me that I am already connected to my wireless network. The Netflix app loaded once, but other than that one time I can't get that one or any other to load.
Elinor, I would love to click the V button twice to get a full screen, find the gear logo and enter all the information that would help you. I understand from the manual I walked through today that I should get a full screen when I click the V button twice, but when I do it the dock just disappears instead as if it is exiting. If it helps you to know, my Visio E550i-B2 was purchased today (2/26/2014) at the CostCo in Concord, California. The serial number is 03LWZ2PPAQ0308750. Hopefully you can track down your information that way. The apps/network is the only thing that doesn't work on this beautiful TV!
No apps will either a) open or b) open but find no connection, even though the wireless connection is in effect. Model is M551d-A2. These apps were the main reason we bought this TV ... is there a solution or should I return it while I still can?
Just like that I now have the same problem with our Vizio-apps all worked great now none of them will load. We did just switch over to Comcast xfinity internet. Connection is excellent, test is good. Is the factory reset working for everyone else? They don't say on comments above.
