Analytics for YCTV

Does anyone have a suggestion for collecting analytics? We are debating about using google analytics for mobile but we would like to track number of installs, play length, user engagement, etc. Any information on this topic is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Haven't used them but there's a group called Noble Metrics doing analytics for Connected TV apps

http://www.noblemetrics.com/

QUOTE(julian @ 1 Sep 2011 8:54 AM)
Does anyone have a suggestion for collecting analytics? Hey Julian,

I can't help with GA but I have successfully implemented Adobe's Omniture platform into Y! Connected apps. AO typically relies on a Javascript include, but I used their noscript image request as an alternative out of fear of violating required Y! standards. Outside of that, it wasn't wildly different from any typical implementation. The data you've mentioned would be easily trackable with AO.

QUOTE(julian @ 1 Sep 2011 8:54 AM)
Does anyone have a suggestion for collecting analytics?
