Yahoo Messenger im's Repeat everything a person says twice!

Version 9.0.2162 has an echo problem where soomeone types something like: hello are you ok today?

it shows up as: hello are you ok today? hello are you ok today?

I've rebooted and the problem won't go away. help

  • It would help if Yahoo could ANSWER this question!! I've tried to get in touch with them with no avail. I got this same situation last night. I was chatting with my boyfriend and his replies were duplicated and triplicated!! This was getting annoying!!

    Does ANYONE have any answers?

  • This forum is the wrong place to post this. I'd help if I could but I am on another team and have no direct involvement in the Messenger product. I've linked to the help area above. That is the best place to go to let the team know about this issue so they can fix it.
