Yahoo! Answers API regional multi word query bug

Hi,

The bug is fully described here:

Basically, when doing an Yahoo! Answers search with a query like 'plane crash' when setting a region, like 'br', no results are returned.

If you do the same query on the Yahoo! Answers regional website you get the correct results.

    You're correct this is a bug, and has been logged with our development team. Unfortunately at this stage there's no timescale for a fix on this issue.

    This is a "showstopper" bug. It should be escalated. How is anyone supposed to use the Answers API when you can't do a complex query?!

  • And I've just realized that this bug has been first described on tech.groups.yahoo.com almost 3 years ago. I guess I should just forget about the API.
