YUI Calendar Datasource

hi,

im trying to build a week schedule application, im having problems connecting the calendar to an external datasource(a php file that selects all holidays from a postgres database), so that all the holidays are selected in the calendar, with different color..

how can i do this? can i connect the calendar to an external datasource?

can anyone help me with this? im new to YUI.
