Web services for IM

Hi All

I am a newbie and would like to know if Yahoo! provides any web services for IM that can be consumed so that I can integrate IM and presence in my web site. I have seen some SDK's but they were developing plug ins( if i am not wrong)... But I am looking for web serivces... ANy directions on this is highly appreciated.

    We don't have a web service or library to integrate without our IM client in this way. However you could look at something like LibPurple which is a cross-platform, cross-IM messaging library for developers (it used to be called Gaim).

    Remember when using libraries like this it's important to stick to the Yahoo! IM Terms of Service though :)Yahoo! Developer Network
