Hello,
I am an experienced developer but new to POP3. Want to connect , check if there are messages, retrieve them then delete them.
When I send my 'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com' I get the return code of '220 smtp108.prem.mail.ac4.yahoo.com ESMTP' (which I beleve means all is well and I am communicating)
Then when I try to send 'USER XXXXX' or 'PASS yyyy' (with vbCRLF) I get 502 Command not implemented
If I send a 'HELO' I get '250 smtp108.prem.mail.ac4.yahoo.com'.
What am I doing wrong?
