Snap Shot overlay video player - Game Changer

a couple of days ago, on yahoo home page they had an ad for JC Penneys.  But there was a little ad and when you click on the ad.  It would take a snap shot of what was on your screen.  then it had a window shutter effect and would play the video.


I am wondering how they did this.
