Search API problems

I have been getting a lot of "service temporarily unavailable" errors the past few days with the yahoo search api. Is there a cause for this?

Errors appear as follows:

com.yahoo.search.SearchException: Error calling service
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<Error xmlns="urn:yahoo:api">

The following errors were detected:

<Message>service temporarily unavailable [C:28]</Message>

</Error>

<!-- ws07.search.re2.yahoo.com uncompressed/chunked Fri Feb 20 05:55:41 PST 2009 -->

Any information regarding this error would be helpful. Thanks.

  • I know that there are verified problems with the SiteExplorer API right now. Which Search API are you finding errors on? Are you still seeing the error now?

    Hello! I still get errors as well. Any idea when the problems will approximately been solved?

    Yeah even i am getting the same error , was able to successfully execute 2-3 queries...after that error started coming up..
