I felt guilty putting more replies in the Welcome post
I don't see a way to edit posts, that might be a good thing... and carriage returns don't seem to show up (as br's or p's or whatever) either. (FF3, XP)

thanks Brian, we'll try to allow the line breaks to be preserved soon. the no-edit thing for general users was a conscious decision, but we may revisit that.

After all, I assume that Yahoo has a way to show a public profile page for an account without revealing anything the account owner doesn't want revealed, such as the underling account id from which the email address might be guessed.
