Local Search support for non-US countries

Is there any chance Yahoo is going to update Local Search apis to support non-US based countries?

We are working on an iPhone application and Yahoo has the best APIs however only seem to work for one country. This is really a shame.

Obviously the data exists because Yahoo Local works in Canada and many other countries.
