Finance Stock Symbol List

I hope this is the proper forum to post my question. I am looking for an easy way to (either programmatically or manually) download all stock symbols traded on all U.S. stock exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, etc.). I need the stock symbols only. There are approximately 7,000 unique stock symbols total. Preferably, I would like a text file with each stock ticker (symbol) on a line followed by a CR-LF. It is not important if the ticker list is sorted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The list will be used for personal use and will not be sold or redistributed. If this is the wrong forum, please excuse my post. Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have. Tom
