Carousel Vac Panel

how can i show more than 3 thumb in the nav panel and how do i change its width without changing the thumbs properties.

    im using YUI's Carousel, im trying to build a photo gallery, its almost done, but i want to show more than 3 thumbsnails and i need to change the size of the thumb's container without changing the size of the thumbs..im talking about the scroller where the thumbnails appears.
