Attribution link to open new window?

We are about to start using Yahoo! Maps API and are looking at the attribution requirements.
They show html that would open a link to "http://developer.yahoo.com/about" in the same window (which would hurt our application).

Anyone out there having their attribution link open in a new tab/window ? We'd like to do that, but the policy states you can not modify their html.

Thoughts?

    I'm not sure, but I can point you to the Maps group (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/yws-maps/). They should be able to answer you ASAP.
