Can't seem to connect

I'm using the code from the samples and I'm trying to connect to the api. However when I try I get "failed to load external entity". Here is the endpoint url I'm using: https://global.apt.yahooapis.com/services//...LocationService. Just trying to accomplish the first step so I can move on. Any help would be appreciated.

  • What technology are you trying to connect with (.NET, Java, etc.)? Also can you post a snippet of your code?

    I figured it out. I didn't have openssl installed on my apache server. I did that, recompiled and it works now. Thanks for the help...
