Can't Obtain API Key

Every time I try to submit the form at https://developer.apps.yahoo.com/dashboard/createKey.html - I get the following error:

API Key Creation Failed
There was an internal error that caused a failure over here. Please try again.

It's been happening for close to a week now. I've been testing with the console, but would to start actually coding up my app.

Can anyone shed some light on what i might be doing wrong?

  • I'm encountering the exact same error message when trying to generate the API key. Is anyone else seeing the same error? Any help would be appreciate it. Thanks

    Are you guys still having problems? I'm hoping it was transient, because I just went through and didn't have any issues getting a new key, but please let me know if you're still seeing otherwise.

  • I got the same problem this whole morning, but it's odd. This happens when I deleted my old project, which has oauth problems.... 
    Is there any official developer who can answer the problems ??? OMG

  • This is an old post, but it doesnt work for me, just throw it here:

    Regarding the OAuth issue, one of the engineering managers discovered something about the data copying that may cause an issue during validation. What he said was that if he text-select the filename by dragging the mouse, it is possible to pick up the "newline" character at the end of the filename. Essentially selecting the filename plus the empty line right after the filename. This may be an issue for some of you - but the problem is still being looked into for a more reliable solution.
