If you try to view a video that is not there, the widget appears to hang. After a very long time, it eventually times out. To the viewer, the widget appears to hang. Can the widget be modified so that it returns if a video is unavailable after some reasonable period of time, say 30 seconds?

The code is very similar to what is available as a sample application. Thanks.
