Would modifying the back button cause rejection from QA? We were discussing reducing the width of the back button to fit several smaller buttons to the right of it, and I wanted to make sure this is even acceptable.
If it's done tastefully, no.
Be aware that the back button should always display the current title of the section you're in, so if that starts to get confusing with extra buttons then yeah, there might be QA issues.
