The position is for a creative lead developer with lots of drive to grow with a fresh, exciting creative firm. We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our team in downtown Oklahoma City.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years with LAMP development
- 2+ years of Linux system administration
- 2+ years of MySQL database administration
- Hard working, self starter with ingenuity and creative abilities
- Experience building data-driven Flash applications
- Experience with scripted animation techniques
- Strong communication skills (in person and writing)
- Proven ability to monitor workload, self-manage time/task efficiently, and work on multiple projects at one time
Skills & Aptitudes Required – Expert Level
- Object Oriented Coding, MySQL, XHTML, JavaScript (JQuery), and CSS
- PHP frameworks (e.g. CakePHP, Codeigniter, etc.)
- Ability to map out projects & scope
Bonus Points For
- Solid AJAX skills using either JQuery, Dojo or Prototype
- Solid knowledge of content management systems, e-commerce & social media
- Knowledge of client/server security, hashing and encryption algorithms
- Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining LAMP environments
- Knowledge of database schema design and implementation both transactional and analytical..
- Experience with version control systems (SVN).
- Active participation in the development community.
- Creative, philosophical mind able to see the "big picture".
Key Duties
- Work with team remote and internal to build and develop high quality Websites and applications.
- Maintain and improve coding standards and project processes.
- Lead quality assurance testing including: cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
- Contribute new ideas to team initiatives.
- Work with designers to create functional websites and applications from graphic layouts.
- Demonstrate well-rounded knowledge of the Web, both back-end and front-end.
- Stay current in new technologies and platforms and be able to adapt to technologies required by clients and projects.
- Learn and integrate third-party application tools, when needed.
