I'm having the identical problem with the sample code. I have verified that the date is correct (I am running the ntp service, but just to make sure I ran ntpdate from the command line).

The sample code simply will not work for me.

this is the part of my code which bring the error

so it was very simple "simplexml_load_file" function for the Yahoo Answers Api
the code was working fine until moving to the new host and now it gives the 999 error.
any help, please ?

i get error when i try to use yahoo answers api with my application.
just everything was working fine on my old host, but now i get this error when i moved to a new host... so any help, please ??.

here is the error:-
[function.simplexml-load-file]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 999

Also, if the above suggestions are all correct and fine for you, please check your server time and ensure its correct and in sync with NTP.
The error you are facing can occur if the server time is out of sync, resulting in oauth signature failure.

Which sample script are you trying to run?

Based on your filename, I am assuming you are trying to use fantasy sports api and the code at:

Looking at your output:

I am not running this script on the server that I registered with, is that why I am seeing this error message? 

I am trying to test the sample script given on the YDN, I changed the key & secret values in the sample script, ran it and I am getting

Better try to get a new access token.
Invalid auth/bad request (got a 401, expected HTTP/1.1 20X or a redirect)

I have looked up inventory for a certain Behavior and certain Geo zone. It says there is PLENTY of inventory there yet you are under delivering my ads. I would like to know what the issue is. I was told there was a glitch at one point and it would be fixed. Then It was due to updates and would be fixed. Then once again a glitch. Last I was told that those numbers are just estimates and you can't be held responsible for them. Well, those estimates are somewhere around 90% off of what I am getting, which if you ask me is an entirely faulty system. I need to get this fixed ASAP. It has been going on for far to long.

On a good note you are doing pretty well on all of my other campaigns and I appreciate that. You also give credit for ads that under deliver.
On a bad note,You are not giving a full credit on the inventory you are under delivering on. Which I find wrong.

Any help would be awesome.

In V10 of the APIthere was service location for the training system:
-https://training-api5120.apt.yahooapis.com/services/V10/LocationService?wsdl

But there is none for V11, only the production:
-https://global.apt.yahooapis.com/services/V11/LocationService?wsdl

Documentation for V10 does show an URL for production and training, but V11 does not. If I try accessing the first url but changing to V11 it fails.

Is there not going to be a training URL for API access?

I am not able to verify the domain in yahoo App,so that might be the reason keys are not working.

We are trying to serach inventory using InventorySearchService using InventorySearchService.searchInventoryByInventorySearchRequests(reqArr); API

When we set PlacementTarget

serach works fine but it only searches inventory on our won network.

We want to search inventory on "Yahoo! Ad Network", Id for this network is "0" that we get from API

When we set following values to placement

Does the API allow for me to create a list of keywords (say from a users action) and then send to the API to return back a best-matching text ad?
