To remove the software package from your system, first perform a Simulator Reset to remove local data and then launch the Synaptic Package Manager from the System→Administration→Synaptic Package Manager menu item. Select Installed on the left side of the dialog. Find the yctv-adk package in the application list, right-mouse-button click on yctv-adk and select Mark for Complete Removal. Select Apply and exit from the package manager after the removal is complete. Alternately you can type the command:

sudo dpkg -r yctv-adk

You can now install another ADK package. The root directory /devapps and its contents are untouched even if you remove the package.
