The @media conference in London, on June 10-11, is one of the largest developer conferences in the UK. Yahoo! Developer Network is an exhibition sponsor, and we'll also be speaking there.
This year @media features both a design and development track, 20 sessions in total, covering web site and application design, and development technologies and practices.
For the first time, @media is being managed by Web Directions, which has been running conferences for web professionals in Australia, North America, and Japan since 2004. Founders John Allsopp and Maxine Sherrin have been involved in the web industry since the early 1990s, so they have a couple of years on me.
The full conference and expo costs £549; early-bird registration at £499 ends on April 30. However, if you register using the code Yahoo, you will get £100 off the prevailing price. So, register by May 1 for the bargain price of £399. Full-day workshops on June 8 and 9 are each £299 for conference attendees; £325 for others.
So if you find yourself at @media, do drop by the Yahoo! Developer Network booth and grab some swag.
